meeting again

My friend Junko came to my place, I met her in India.
What a great things it is! Even we met by chance while traveling, but we can meet again.
She knows my Indian family who took care of me. I had precious time with them and Junko. We ate homemade curry and had fun at home together. I’m happy to see her again.
She lives in Osaka and I had lived in osaka for 4 years. But we’d never come across at that time. But we met at India, even we are in same place for a very short time.
I’m wondering how we meet somebody and become friend.
